
The status of Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) is defined in the Community Customs Code and its approval means that the company that acquired this certification, is considered to have been evaluated according to a set of criteria and requirements by the customs administration, and therefore have earned their trust.
Freight Fowarder Multicargo acquired AEO Certification
The Authorised Economic Operator status is the key to secure and facilitate global trade. Essentially, it aims to reduce bureaucracy, and increase the speed of export and import customs clearance, as well as accomplish global convergence, which strives for a higher level of safety in the international logistics supply chain, created by the World Customs Organization (WCO).
For Multicargo, this certification gives more than possible simplifications in the field of customs, it also provides credibility, since it stands for the fact that the company passed the approval vetting process by the Portuguese customs.

Superior Technician of Hygiene and Safety at Work and Auditor-Coordinator of the ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems. Since 2014 she has been collaborating with Multicargo Lda. as an External Quality Consultant, whilst supporting the company in the implementation of the Quality and Safety Action Programs, and verifying the compliance of the company’s Management Systems. More recently she has dedicated herself to the project of obtaining the certification of Authorised Economic Operator (AEO).
